Summer Update 2024
We are celebrating 21 years on the road in evangelism! We are also kicking off a fundraiser for a new vehicle. All that and more in this update.
July, 2024
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ, our prayer partners!
I am deeply grateful for God’s goodness as we celebrate 21 years of full-time itinerant ministry. Throughout these years, we have witnessed His faithfulness in countless ways: protection during our travels, enduring fruit in ministry, and encouragement for thousands in Christ.
Our recent winter/spring tour took us across the United States, ministering in churches from coast to coast. From Mississippi to California, and from Texas to Massachusetts, we’ve had the privilege of serving God’s people. This included a church plant in Big Bear, CA, alongside the Jackie Elwart family, and the historic Hamilton Square Baptist Church in San Francisco, under Pastor Dan Pelletier’s leadership. We enjoyed singing and preaching for a church anniversary service near Boston, leading a choir concert with over 100 musicians in Pennsylvania, and a week of revival meetings in rural Minnesota. And so many others in between!
Raising Support for a New Vehicle
While our 2019 Ford Expedition has been spacious and powerful, it has become expensive and unreliable. In the past two years alone, it has spent weeks and months in the mechanic’s shop. This has necessitated borrowing vehicles, renting cars, and regrettably, canceling some meetings. Currently, our second new transmission is experiencing shifting issues, and it has been at the Ford dealer for 10 days with another 10-14 days expected just for diagnosis, not including repair time. In the meantime, we are getting around in our son’s 2005 Buick Le Sabre.
Our youngest, Brandon, is now a senior and will be traveling with us until spring 2025! Although our children will no longer be with us, we believe God wants us to continue our ministry journey, preaching and singing across America and overseas. To support our mission, we’re launching a fundraiser to pay off our current vehicle and acquire a much-needed truck. Our goal is $85,000, as we cover 35,000 miles annually with a 16-foot equipment trailer in tow.
God has consistently amazed us with unexpected gifts ranging from $50 to $5000 over the years. He’s even miraculously cleared debts on RVs in the past. We have complete faith that God will meet this new challenge. Would you consider sending a gift? Your tax-deductible donation can be sent to Bible Revival Ministries at 384 Woodsberry Shoals Drive, Duncan, SC, 29334, or visit beneverson.com and click on “Get Involved.”
Other Exciting Prayer Requests:
- We’re looking for additional churches to minster to. I’m compiling a list of 100 churches for future ministry opportunities, aiming to introduce our work to them by the end of August.
- This July, I’ll be teaching for 2 weeks at Pensacola Christian College’s music camp, while Brandon will also be a music camper. Would you pray it would go well?
- Progress is quietly advancing on my 50 by 50 A Cappella Music campaign. My voice is consistently hovering around 70%; would you pray I can get up to 90% or more by August? Learn more at beneverson.com/50by50.
Despite some unique personal challenges this past year, your prayers have been a tremendous source of encouragement. The Lord is deepening our faith and walk with Him, preparing us to inspire God’s people to take their next spiritual steps.
Thank you for being part of our journey!
