A Brief Ministry History
Evangelist Ben Everson & Bible Revival MinsitriesStill Preaching and Encouraging Local Churches in 2024!
It has been over 30 years since I was called to preach in high school. We’ve been married 25 years, and only our youngest, Brandon, is traveling with us. It’s been just short of a million miles in ministry travel since 1995! We’re thrilled to bring our experience in encouraging God’s people through the Word and music to your local church. Invite us in for REFRESH MEETINGS, family camp, or marriage retreats. We look forward to being a blessing!
Ben Everson grew up in the city of Midland, Michigan, attending Calvary Baptist Church. He was called to preach as a high school sophomore and graduated from the Christian school in 1995. The summer after graduation, he put together a team of young people called the Bible Revival Team that sang and traveled to various mid-Michigan churches (picture of the last team in 1997). They would reunite each summer to serve local churches each Sunday. Ben would preach those meetings. He attended Delta Community College, Maranatha Baptist University, and graduated from Northland Baptist Bible College, remaining on staff at Northland for several years. He started the Bible Revival Team at Northland and led it for 5 years out of the college.
Amanda grew up as the oldest of 7 children on the mission field of Mexico. She remembers the days of deputation well, traveling to churches and singing with her siblings. Her parents still serve in Mexico today. Amanda went to Northland Baptist Bible College in 1996 and met Ben who transferred to Northland in 1997. They joined the same singing group for the college as well as an a cappella quartet Ben formed on campus. They were married in 1999, and traveled for the college with the Bible Revival Team until 2003.

The Bible Revival Team, '07-'09
The last version of the Bible Revival Team was created when Ben’s brother Joe and his wife Bethany joined on the road for several years. They recorded several albums and performed the multi-media production “Revival America.”

Preaching in Gadsden, AL
This is from our first week of meetings on our own after leaving Northland in 2003.
Ladies' Meetings
Amanda has spoken to a variety of ladies gatherings in churches and family camp. She doesn’t shy away from the real issues facing our families today.
The Family Sings
We have enjoyed singing together as a family during the entirety of our ministry. We have recorded a number of family music albums.
Ordination
Ben was ordained out of our home church, Calvary Baptist of Midland, MI. They have been a wonderful sending church all these years.
25 Years of Marriage
Ben and Amanda waited a long time to accept invitations to speak at marriage retreats and family camps, opting to wait until they could speak from deep experience.
A Cappella Goes Viral
Ben had been recording a cappella music since he was a child, but his video version of Complete in Thee and subsequent all-a cappella album in 2010 caught on in Bible-believing churches across the country. The ministry experienced exponential growth during this time as churches wanted to invite in the singing evangelist.
Ron Hamilton
We had worked with Majesty Music before, but when Patch the Pirate joined Ben to sing “Bow the Knee” a cappella on YouTube, it marked a major milestone. I will always be grateful that he lent me his credibility.
A Grateful Family
We are not a perfect family, but we are so grateful that God has been so gracious to us. He has allowed us to minister to so many people, encouraging them in the truth of His Word.
